As far as I know the sight blade marking was changed several times. One change was done june 16th, 1943. The reason was use of bullets with Eisenkern. The marking means height of sight blade (German = Korn) :

Pluskorn 6,6 mm
Pluskorn 6,5 mm
                                        Normalkorn 6,4 mm (former Minuskorn)
 Minuskorn 6,3 mm
 Minuskorn 6,2 mm

Another change was done October 14th, 1943:
To differentiate the both Pluskorn and Minuskorn was the existing marking (+, -) replaced for END NUMBER of sight blade height:

6 = 6,6 mm
5 = 6,5 mm
4 = 6,4 mm
3 = 6,3 mm
2 = 6,2 mm
